Lava/ Procera

Lava (3M ESPE) - all ceramic system

  • offers fabrication of all-ceramic crowns and bridges for anterior and posterior applications, using CAD/CAM procedures (scanning, computer-aided framework design and milling) from zirconia blanks

  • Framework consists of zirconia, an extremely strong material.

  • *produces high-strength restorations with excellent accuracy of fit

  • Due to the low thermal conductivity of the ceramic, unlike metal-supported units, sensitivity to temperature variation decreases.

  • Zirconia withstands many times the level of stress occurring in the mouth. Its strength is considerably higher than other all-ceramic materials.

  • has no allergenic potential, and is very biocompatible, with no detectable solubility

  • offers range of shades, resulting in a harmonic color effect and natural blending to the oral environment, as well as ideal translucency to ensure a natural appearance
